Job summary

Clarks is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Grays to support the Store Manager in leading our retail team and driving daily operations. You will be a hands-on leader, ensuring the store runs smoothly and hits performance goals while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires experience in retail leadership, strong communication, and the ability to work a 7-day shift pattern including weekends and bank holidays. A positive, proactive mindset is essential to thrive at Clarks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail leadership, supervisory, or keyholder roles preferred.
• Comfortable in driving KPI's and results.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Strong communication and organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work a 7-day shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and MS Office/Google Workspace tools.
