Job summary

Starbucks Corp. in UK is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations and drive excellent customer experiences. You will supervise shifts, coach partners, and ensure high standards of service while managing KPIs and store performance.

You will contribute to the store’s daily operations, support product launches and maintain compliance with health and safety standards, with training provided to help you grow within Starbucks’ leadership framework.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a dynamic, fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
• Strong customer focus and leadership presence.
• Ability to translate metrics into actionable improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with a focus on delivering commercial results and world-class customer experience.
• Own KPIs such as labour efficiency, waste reduction and sales performance.
• Ensure shifts are deployed to meet planned roles and routines; adjust to optimise customer experience.
• Coach partners, provide feedback and recognise achievements during and after shifts.
• Act as duty manager when scheduled, taking accountability for operational decisions.
• Train and coach team members to deliver consistent quality and service excellence.
