Job summary

Diamonds Factory is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for our Norwich store. This hands-on role supports the Store Manager, coaches the sales team and ensures every customer feels welcomed and valued as part of a high-end luxury experience.

You will work 40 hours across five days, including weekends and bank holidays, focusing on driving sales, maintaining premium service and nurturing long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience in luxury retail, ideally jewellery.
• Strong sales track record and ability to meet/exceed targets.
• Confident with high-end customers and supporting a busy sales team.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and sense of style.

The role

Diamonds Factory is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join our successful Norwich store.

This is a hands-on role where no two days will be exactly the same. You will work closely with the Store Manager to support the team, keep the store running smoothly and ensure every customer feels genuinely welcomed and valued.

The person

• You will have at least two years’ experience in luxury retail, ideally within jewellery, with a strong record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• You will be confident working with high-end customers and supporting a busy sales team. You will also be approachable, commercially aware and comfortable solving problems when they arise.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a natural sense of style are essential. Most importantly, you will understand how to make customers feel comfortable, listened to and excited about their purchase.
