Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire in the English countryside is seeking a proactive Assistant Stewarding Manager to lead the stewarding team and uphold the highest cleanliness and safety standards across kitchen and back-of-house areas.

Working closely with the Stewarding Manager, you will develop schedules, train staff, monitor stock, and ensure efficient service delivery while maintaining luxury guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a stewarding or back-of-house team in hospitality.
• Proven leadership and coaching abilities.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
• Hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support the Stewarding Manager in daily supervision of the team.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned and ready for service.
• Maintain high cleanliness and organisation across back-of-house areas.
• Assist with rota planning, scheduling, and daily task allocation.
• Train and coach team members to meet standards.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with procurement.
• Ensure waste disposal and recycling procedures are followed.
• Conduct regular health, safety and hygiene checks.
• Support kitchen and F&B teams to deliver seamless service.
