Job summary

Barratt Developments plc is seeking an on-site professional to assist the Site Manager in delivering projects from start to finish. You will coordinate trades, manage labour and materials, and monitor programme, quality and cost targets across UK developments.

The role emphasises strong customer service, health and safety compliance, and effective collaboration with Sales and Construction teams. A hybrid working approach is offered where roles allow, supporting a flexible work pattern.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within established build programs.
• Assertive to ensure delivery of targets by the on-site team and trades/labour.
• Ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.
• Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders and/or qualified to NVQ level in Construction Management or a time served tradesman with considerable experience of the full range of construction trades.
• In depth knowledge of all aspects of the construction trade and the relevant legislative requirements e.g. Health and Safety, NHBC requirements and Building Regulations
• Good knowledge, understanding and experience of dealing with all issues relating to Customer Service

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in coordinating trades, direct labour and materials to meet the production programme.
• Work with Sales Team; attend regular Sales/Build meetings and inspect show homes.
• Deputise for the Site Manager when required.
• Ensure the on-site Construction team is resourced and guided with clear responsibilities and training.
• Deliver excellent customer service to customers in line with company guidelines
