Job summary

Barratt Developments plc is seeking a Site Manager to drive development projects from start to finish, ensuring programme, quality and cost targets are met through effective site leadership.

You will coordinate trades, direct labour and materials, work with the Sales Team, deputise for the Site Manager when needed, and maintain a high standard of customer service on site. Hybrid and office/site work arrangements apply where role allows.

Qualifications

• Member of Chartered Institute of Builders or NVQ Construction Management or time-served tradesperson.
• Deep knowledge of construction trades and relevant legislation (H&S, NHBC, Building Regulations).
• Experience delivering projects within established build programs.
• Strong customer service and on-site team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support Site Manager by coordinating trades, labour and materials to meet production programme.
• Attend Sales/Build meetings with Sales Team and inspect show homes.
• Deputise for Site Manager when required.
• Ensure on-site team is resourced, trained and supported.
• Deliver excellent customer service in line with guidelines.
