Job summary

Places Developments in Bath is recruiting an enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a residential development. You will work closely with the Site Manager and project team to coordinate day-to-day activities, ensuring work progresses safely, on time and to high quality standards.

You will promote safe practices, monitor quality, conduct inductions, plan work packages, and liaise with contractors, suppliers, NHBC and homeowners to ensure snagging is completed promptly.

Qualifications

• CSCS supervisor accreditation and SMSTS qualification.
• Full UK driving licence and good IT skills.
• Previous housebuilding or residential construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager with day-to-day construction activity across the programme.
• Promote safe working practices and maintain a professional site culture.
• Monitor quality and follow Build Stage Inspection processes.
• Carry out health and safety inductions for contractors and visitors.
• Plan and coordinate work packages, activities, and logistics to reduce risks.
• Liaise with contractors, NHBC, and stakeholders to keep progress on track.
• Depose for the Site Manager and maintain site management discipline.
• Coordinate snagging with new homeowners to complete works on time.
