Job summary

Places Developments is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Site Manager to support the successful delivery of a residential development. On site, you will work closely with the Site Manager and project team to coordinate daily activity, ensuring work progresses safely, efficiently and to high quality standards, delivering homes customers can be proud of.

You will promote safe practices, monitor quality, and plan work packages while liaising with contractors, NHBC and homeowners.

Qualifications

• CSCS supervisor accreditation required.
• SMSTS qualification required.
• First Aid certificate required.
• Scaffold Inspection qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager with day-to-day management of construction activity to meet programme, budget and quality standards.
• Promote safe working practices and maintain a professional site culture.
• Monitor quality and ensure Build Stage Inspection processes are followed.
• Carry out health and safety inductions for contractors and visitors.
• Coordinate work packages and logistics to minimise risk and keep deadlines on track.
• Liaise with contractors, NHBC and homeowners to ensure smooth progress and snagging is completed.
