Job summary

Places Developments is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager to support delivery of a vibrant development in the UK. You will work with the Site Manager and project team to coordinate daily construction activities, ensuring work progresses safely, efficiently and to high quality standards.

You'll promote safe practices, monitor quality, conduct inductions, plan works, and liaise with contractors, NHBC and homeowners while deputising for the Site Manager when required.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating site activities with a focus on safety and quality.
• Proven ability to support a Site Manager and lead on health & safety.
• Knowledge of NHBC standards and building control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Manager with daily management of construction activity to match programme, budget and quality.
• Promote safe working practices and maintain a professional site culture.
• Monitor quality and ensure Build Stage Inspection processes are followed.
• Conduct health and safety inductions for contractors and visitors.
• Plan and coordinate work packages, site activities and logistics to manage risks.
• Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, NHBC and other stakeholders to keep progress on track.
• deputise for the Site Manager when needed and support site management discipline.
• Liaise with new homeowners and coordinate snagging completion deadlines.
