Places Developments is hiring an enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager to support delivery on a residential development. You will work with the Site Manager and project team to coordinate daily activities, uphold safety standards and ensure high-quality workmanship.

You will assist with planning, supervising on-site tasks and liaising with contractors, NHBC and homeowners, while maintaining a positive, proactive site culture. A driving licence and relevant qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Health and safety mindset essential on a live construction site.
• Good IT and communication skills are required.
• Experience coordinating site activities and teams is preferred.
• Knowledge of NHBC standards and building control requirements is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Support the Site Manager with day-to-day management of construction activity, ensuring work aligns with programme, budget and quality.
• Promote safe working practices and maintain a professional site culture.
• Monitor quality and ensure Build Stage Inspection processes are followed.
• Conduct health and safety inductions for contractors and visitors on site.
• Plan and coordinate work packages, site activities and logistics to minimise risks.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, NHBC and stakeholders to keep progress on track.
• Occasionally deputise for the Site Manager and assist with snagging with new homeowners.
