Job summary

Places Developments is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Site Manager to support the successful delivery of one of our developments. Working closely with the Site Manager and wider project team, you'll help coordinate day-to-day activity on site, ensuring work progresses safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

In this hands-on role you will promote safe practices, monitor quality, run inductions, plan and coordinate work packages, and liaise with contractors, NHBC,

Qualifications

• CSCS supervisor accreditation required.
• SMSTS qualification required.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• First Aid certificate required.
• Scaffold Inspection qualification required.
• Knowledge of NHBC standards and building control.
• Experience in residential construction.

Responsibilities

• Support Site Manager with day-to-day management of construction activity.
• Ensure work delivered per programme, budget and quality standards.
• Promote safe working practices and maintain a positive site culture.
• Monitor quality and ensure Build Stage inspections are followed.
• Conduct health and safety inductions for contractors and visitors.
• Plan and coordinate work packages, site activities and logistics.
• Liaise with NHBC, contractors and homeowners to keep activity on track.
• Deputise for the Site Manager when required.
