Job summary

Hope House Children’s Hospices in Llandudno is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead the team in our busy shop. This permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours per week) includes weekend work and a competitive salary (£25,787 - £28,471 per annum).

You will be a confident organizer with retail and supervisory experience, responsible for customer service, sales targets, stock preparation, and ensuring accurate stock and Gift Aid processing.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and supervisory skills required.
• Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and sales focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shop team and volunteers to meet commercial targets.
• Maintain relationships internally and externally for stock generation.
• Ensure stock processing is efficient and stock levels are accurate.
• Receipting, locating and transferring new goods; maintain stock accuracy.
• Capture Gift Aid opportunities to maximise donations revenue.
• Operate the Cyber till EPOS system and adhere to cash handling procedures.
