Farleigh Hospice in Maldon is seeking a Weekend Retail Assistant Manager to lead the charity shop and donation centre. You will recruit, train and support volunteers, drive sales, maintain shop presentation and ensure accurate cash handling in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong leadership, customer service and a sales-focused mindset, with weekend availability and commitment to the charity’s values and community. A proactive, solutions-oriented approach is essential.

• Proven leadership and ability to manage volunteers effectively.
• Experience in recruiting, training and motivating volunteers.

• Experience with visual merchandising and shop-floor presentation.
• Experience sorting and pricing donations and rotating stock.
• Cash-handling, banking and basic financial management skills.
