Job summary

Claire House in Stockton Heath is seeking a full-time Shop Manager to lead our charity shop, working 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Saturday, driving sales and supporting volunteers.

You will bring retail management experience, meet targets, manage financials, and deliver excellent customer service while upholding our safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• Relevant retail management experience in discount environment or charity sector.
• Experience meeting targets and deadlines, dealing with financial figures.
• Excellent people supervisory/management, communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in recruiting and working with volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the Stockton Heath shop to achieve targets.
• Meet sales targets and manage shop budgets and financials.
• Recruit, train and supervise volunteers and staff to deliver excellent service.
• Ensure safe, compliant and welcoming customer experiences on the shop floor.

We are looking to recruit a full-time Shop Manager in our our Stockton Heathshop, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday. Relevant retail management experience working within either a discount environment or the charity sector is essential. The successful candidate will have experience in meeting targets and deadlines, dealing with financial figures and be ICT literate. Excellent people supervisory/management, communication and customer service skills and experience is a must. It is essential to have experience in recruiting and working with volunteers.
