Perfect Placement UK Ltd. in Cheltenham is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to support the busy aftersales department of a multi-franchise dealer group. The role offers a salary up to £45,000 per year, negotiable by experience, with a performance bonus and uncapped earnings potential.

You'll lead six to seven vehicle technicians and three service advisors, ensure efficient workshop operation, and drive customer satisfaction. Hours are Mon-Fri 8:00–18:00 with negotiable Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience in an assistant service management role or similar within a medium-to-large franchise dealership.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to motivate teams.
• Proactive, commercially aware approach focused on customer satisfaction.
• Good IT literacy and ability to manage operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the Service Manager with daily operation of the aftersales department.
• Lead and motivate six to seven Vehicle Technicians and three Service Advisors.
• Ensure effective utilisation of workshop facilities and labour sales.
• Maintain high operational standards and drive improvements in customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to management decisions and departmental performance.
