Job summary

Hiddenwell is launching a brand-new 60-cover Mediterranean à la carte restaurant at Hoar Cross Hall. As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will lead from the floor, shaping service and building a passionate team to deliver warm, knowledgeable, and polished dining.

You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to set standards, manage costs, drive revenue, and create a memorable guest experience that aligns with our Two AA Rosette ambition.

Qualifications

• Must have previous restaurant supervisory or management experience.
• Passion for food, wine and exceptional hospitality.
• Experience with Mediterranean cuisine is desirable.
• Ability to lead, train staff and maintain service standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team during day-to-day service.
• Deliver and maintain service standards for 2 AA Rosette level.
• Support opening and launch of the new restaurant.
• Develop the team and shape service standards.
• Coach team on menu knowledge and upselling.
• Monitor costs, payroll and stock to protect profitability.
• Collaborate with kitchen and wider F&B team to enhance guest experience.
• Respond to guest feedback professionally.
