Hiddenwell is opening a brand-new 60-cover Mediterranean restaurant in Hoar Cross Hall, Staffordshire. We’re seeking a motivated Commis Chef to join the opening brigade and learn from experienced chefs while developing your skills across all kitchen stations.

You’ll prepare, cook and present dishes, follow recipes, and gradually take on more responsibility as you grow. This role offers hands-on training, pre-opening tastings and a clear path to progression toward Demi Chef de Partie and beyond.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience or a culinary qualification would be helpful.
• Attitude, enthusiasm and genuine passion for food are important.
• Ability to work well in a busy kitchen and follow instructions.

Responsabilités

• You’ll learn to prepare, cook and present dishes and follow recipes.
• Develop knife and preparation skills and gradually take on more responsibility.
• Support Chef de Partie during preparation and service.
• Keep the station clean, organised and stocked.
• Participate in pre-opening training, tastings and service rehearsals.
• Contribute to a culture of high standards and teamwork.
