Ingliston Country Club & Hotel's Palomino’s restaurant is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our award-winning team. The role involves supporting the Restaurant Manager, preparing rotas, and ensuring daily operation and guest service.

Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year in a similar role, strong organisational and leadership skills, and the ability to work weekends and evenings on a rota.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Availability to work weekends and evenings on a rota.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside and support the Restaurant Manager
• Prepare and allocate rotas
• Conduct team briefings (pre- and post-shift)
• Maintain close liaison with the kitchen
• Oversee bookings on our booking system OpenTable
• Manage daily operation of the restaurant
• Welcome guests and deliver exceptional customer service
• Follow opening and closing procedures
• Direct and motivate staff
• Communicate with wider team on issues and ideas
• Handle and resolve feedback or issues as they arise
