Job summary

Barratt Developments plc is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support cost control, reporting and commercial administration on development sites. Hybrid working with regular site and office presence is expected.

You will assist with cost planning, tender preparation and subcontractor payments while developing your surveying skills in a fast-paced, active construction environment.

Qualifications

• Studying or recently qualified in surveying.
• Highly numerate with good data interpretation.
• Excellent written English and attention to detail.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cost control and costing for site developments.
• Prepare reports on costs and cash flows using available systems.
• Assist with tenders, procurement and subcontractor payments.
• Maintain filing systems and support commercial administration.
