Job summary

Anglian Water is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support commercial management of projects in our Integrated Maintenance and Repair Water Recycling Alliance. Based in Huntingdon with hybrid working, you will help manage cost information, accruals, cost forecasting and adherence to contract terms.

You will work closely with the Senior QS (Central) and Commercial Managers to drive cost control, risk mitigation and timely final accounts, while promoting continuous improvement, robust

• Strong IT knowledge with MS Office.
• Good organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Strong numerate and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and spoken communication with the ability to influence.
• Experience with monthly reporting cycles and commercial reports.
• Experience working with SAP.
• Commercial awareness and risk management understanding.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and cost aspects of projects to ensure cost control, value maximisation and risk management.
• Demonstrate understanding of contractual obligations and ensure compliance.
• Maintain commercial records for audits, cost assurance and final accounts.
• Identify efficiencies and ensure governance procedures are followed.
• Support Early Warning, Risk Reduction meetings and procurement processes.
