Job summary

Anglian Water is seeking a proactive Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management across the Central alliance, driving cost control, forecasting and contractual performance while mentoring the team.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure robust commercial insights and adherence to safety standards within the AMP8 programme, while delivering value through proactive risk management and procurement oversight.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial management of large programmes.
• Strong cost control, value optimisation and risk mitigation abilities.
• Experience with pre- and post-contract QS duties and cash flow management.

Responsibilities

• Promote commercial assurance across the programme aligned with AMP8.
• Lead commercial and cost assurance with emphasis on cost control and safety.
• Provide support to the Commercial Lead and Performance Manager on obligations and risk.
• Oversee forecasting aligned to programme and WBS structures with monthly SAP updates.
• Update SAP with planning/forecasting data consistent with budgets.
• Own alliance commercial position calculations including forecasts.
• Support Early Warning and Risk Reduction meetings to manage risks.
• Assist with Purchase Order process and procurement compliance.
