Job summary

Anglian Water Group seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor (Central) to lead commercial management and cost assurance for the alliance. You will drive cost control, provide strategic commercial insight, and mentor junior staff while aligning with safety and performance standards.

The role involves forecasting, procurement governance, and robust relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders to support sustainable delivery.

Qualifications

Membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB).
Experience with NEC, JCT contracts.
Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
In-depth pre- and post-contract QS duties and cash flow management.

Responsibilities

Lead commercial and cost assurance across the alliance.
Provide expert commercial and contractual support to the Lead and Performance Manager.
Forecasting aligned to programme and WBS structures in SAP.
Update SAP with planning and forecasting data.
Own the alliance commercial position and risk mitigation.
Support Early Warning and Risk Reduction Meetings.
Assist with Purchase Order process and procurement procedures.
Mentor junior team members and stakeholders.
