Salary
£45,413 to £57,422 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression Training (PCE-CfD) is an innovative development in counselling and psychotherapy. The qualification is recognised by the NHS and enhances career prospects for qualified therapists. PCE-CfD training enables therapists to understand the requirements of working within an NHS environment. It deepens understanding of the connection between research, theory, and practice. The School of Education seeks to appoint an Assistant Professor to work on this programme. Duties will include curriculum development; teaching; assessment, and quality assurance.
Applicants should hold a postgraduate qualification in Counselling or equivalent. They should also have proven competence in person-centred facilitation.
This is a part-time position (14.5 hours per week). On a fixed term contract until 30 September 2028.
