Job description

We are a theatre without walls and have imagination without limits.

We are seeking an Assistant Producer to work as part of the Artistic Development team to support the development of the Company’s pipeline of projects for production, and other associated activities. They will support the delivery of projects in development to the highest quality and within agreed timeframes, budgets and systems, and will play a pivotal role in ensuring excellent communication between artists and the Company.

Interviews will be held: Wed 21 Jan 2026 in-person in Glasgow

  • Articulation of their relevant experience to date, in line with the Job Description and Person Specification.

Interviews

Interviews will be held on 21 January 2026. Interviews will last around 1 hour, made up of a 15min prioritisation task followed by a 45min interview with NTS staff including Caroline Newall, Director of Artistic Development and Ailie Crerar-Blythe, Producer (Programme Development).

Unless requested, you should assume that interviews will take place between 10-6pm and at our base, Rockvilla, 125 Craighall Road, Glasgow. We will consider holding interviews online, or outwith normal working hours on request, and where practically possible.

Access

We can financially support access provision to allow you to attend interview. Potential support includes: contributing to travel costs if you live more than 25miles from Glasgow, BSL support, PA support or support for caring costs. If you would need to bring a dependent and carer with you to Rockvilla so you can attend an interview, we can provide a private space for them.

All access requirements should be communicated as soon as an interview is offered, to ensure we have adequate time to make arrangements for you.
