Role Responsibilities

As the Assistant Nursery Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to oversee daily activities and provide exemplary care. Your responsibilities include:

  • Meeting each child's individual needs, including supporting parents with SEND/ASL needs.
  • Building strong relationships with parents and guardians, ensuring effective communication.
  • Supporting the Nursery Manager in resolving complaints and concerns promptly, reporting to the Regional Manager as needed.
  • Supporting, supervising, training, and appraising staff to ensure high-quality childcare and fostering positive relationships.
  • Encouraging and praising children’s development and achievements.
  • Maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring health and safety standards.

Minimum requirements: At least a Level 3 Childcare qualification and previous experience as an Assistant or Deputy Nursery Manager.
