Overview

We’re looking for a highly organised and commercially aware Assistant Merchandiser to join our Branch Merchandising team. In this role, you’ll support the trading and stock management of the Reiss estate across all omni channels, helping to ensure sales are optimised, markdowns are minimised, and stock is in the right place at the right time. Working closely with Merchandising, Buying, and Retail teams, you’ll play a key role in analysing performance, planning allocations, and supporting new store and market expansion. What you’ll be doing
  • Supporting the in-season trading and stock management process across all channels to maximise sales and minimise markdowns.
  • Reviewing seasonal grading at store and market level, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Assisting with allocations, replenishment planning, and ensuring stock levels reflect sales performance.
  • Analysing sales and size performance to identify trends and inform trading actions.
  • Monitoring store and online performance, ensuring product is in the right place at the right time.
  • Coordinating intake, recalls, and transfers to support trade and product launches.
  • Preparing and maintaining reports to support effective decision-making.
  • Collaborating with the wider Merchandising and Retail teams to support trading strategies and store performance.
  • Assisting in the coaching and development of our Trainee Merchandisers, contributing to a high-performing branch function.
