Role Purpose

You will be responsible and accountable for the shop and the team in the absence of the Shop Manager, including operating and managing the shop effectively. Your daily tasks will involve assisting the Shop Manager and team to ensure smooth store operations, maintaining high standards, accepting and paying out bets, and delivering excellent customer service. You will also handle opening and closing the business and managing shop operations when the Shop Manager is unavailable.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Shop Manager in daily shop operations and team management.
• Lead the shop team in the absence of the Shop Manager, including opening and closing the shop, managing cash procedures, and overseeing team adherence to policies.
• Utilize the company's Time and Attendance system effectively.
• Maintain high shop presentation standards and motivate the team.
• Encourage open communication and continuous improvement ideas among colleagues.
• Focus on achieving shop results and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Provide outstanding customer experience and guide the team in delivering excellent service.
• Process bets accurately via multiple channels, including terminals and EPOS system.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador, promoting the multi-channel/digital journey.
• Ensure operational procedures, cash management, and security protocols are followed.
• Adhere to social responsibility duties.
