Job summary

Five Guys is looking for an Assistant Manager to drive exceptional guest experiences in a fast‑paced UK restaurant. You will lead Shift Managers and Crew on shift, coach teams to perform at their best, and partner with the General Manager to maximise local store results.

You will foster an engaging working environment aligned with our values—team, energy, and integrity—while delivering profits and maintaining high food-safety standards.

Qualifications

• Leadership and coaching of Shift Managers and Crew.
• Focus on guest experience and satisfaction metrics.
• Experience with managing food cost, labour, and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Lead Shift Managers and Crew, hands-on on line and dining area.
• Support General Manager to deliver burgers and fries and store results, ensuring a great guest experience.
• Create an awesome working environment aligned with Five Guys values.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and transparently to maintain trust.
• Ensure smooth shift operations and contribute to long-term planning.
• Take ownership of P&L, drive sales and control costs.
• Develop talent to build a strong future leadership pipeline.
