Job summary

Five Guys in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Manager who will work with the General Manager to drive sales, deliver outstanding customer service and uphold our simple burger-and-fries formula.

You will lead and coach the team, handle shift operations, manage costs, and ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met. The role offers progression toward higher management and rewards performance with a bonus scheme and other perks.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of management experience in a high-volume hospitality or QSR setting.
• Experience assisting with P&L management, labour costs and stock control.
• Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the team to deliver profits and great customer service.
• Oversee shifts, ensure smooth operation and adherence to safety standards.
• Drive sales while controlling costs and managing the shift P&L.
