Job summary

Upham Inns is seeking an Assistant Manager for one of its premium pubs in Southern England. You will be on the floor at the heart of the action, responsible for guest experience and day-to-day running, reporting to the General Manager.

You will lead the team, manage food and beverage operations, recruitment and staff development, and help drive KPI performance while delivering high-quality service. This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays, with a clear development

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience within Hospitality.
• Strong leadership and staff development abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of guest experience at a high level with consistency through every shift.
• Overall responsibility for the food and beverage.
• Achieving KPI's / performance metrics for the ongoing financial success of the business.
• HR responsibilities including recruitment and development of staff.
• Stock controls.
• Drive business through the delivery of consistent guest experiences.
• Opening and closing of the business.
