Job summary

Upham Inns is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations at one of its premium pubs in the Southern England region. In this role you will deliver exceptional guest experiences on every shift, manage the food and beverage offering, and drive KPI performance while developing staff.

You will work evenings, weekends and holidays as part of a hands-on leadership team, with a clear pathway to General Manager as part of our development program.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising hospitality teams and delivering guest service
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• UK Right to Work documentation
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experiences at a high level on every shift
• Oversee food and beverage operations
• Hit KPI and financial targets for the venue
• HR duties including recruitment and staff development
• Manage stock controls and cost controls
• Drive business by delivering consistent guest experiences
• Open and close the business and supervise daily operations
