Job summary

Five Guys Aberdeen is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead on-shift teams, support the General Manager and drive store results while delivering the quintessential Five Guys guest experience.

You will coach staff, ensure food quality, safety standards and a positive work culture. The role requires 1–2 years in a high-volume hospitality or QSR setting with flexible availability and a hands-on leadership style.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing on-shift teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction scores and guest experience.
• Experience contributing to P&L, cost control and profitability targets.
• Understanding of Food Safety and 5‑star hygiene standards.
• Ability to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift teams and Crew, modelling hands-on leadership on the line and dining area.
• Support the General Manager in delivering perfect burgers and fries and drive store results.
• Create an engaging, positive work environment aligned with our values: Competitive, Enthusiastic, Family, Get It Done, Integrity.
• Address customer complaints promptly and honestly to ensure delight with every order.
• Ensure smooth shift operations and contribute to long-term planning and cost control.
• Own your P&L during shifts and drive sales while managing labour and waste.
