Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC, via Ember Inns, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations and to mentor the team to provide excellent guest experiences.

You will lead by example, train staff, and drive service excellence, delivering memorable moments that keep guests coming back to the pub.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a hospitality team.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Customer-focused with ability to lead by example.
• Proven ability to motivate teams to deliver service.

Responsibilities

• Use your management experience to support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business, being the Duty Manager when they are not around.
• Use your communication skills to train and inspire your team to deliver food, drink, and service to be proud of.
• Be the role model and guide development within your team.
• Lead the team to deliver moments that WOW our guest, keeping them coming back.
