Job summary

California in London is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations and mentor the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a traditional pub setting.

You will lead by example, train staff for food, drink and service excellence, and step in as Duty Manager when the GM is unavailable, driving a welcoming and high-performing team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality/restaurant management.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent guest-service orientation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Use your management experience to support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business, being the Duty Manager when they are not around.
• Use your communication skills to train and inspire your team to deliver food, drink, and service to be proud of.
• Be the role model and guide development within your team.
• Lead the team to deliver moments that WOW our guest, keeping them coming back.
