The Air Ambulance Service Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Kingsthorpe Shop and lead daily store operations. This role focuses on delivering strong customer service, achieving income targets, and coordinating a diverse team including volunteers in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• To support the shop manager in leading and managing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring income targets are met in line with our organisational objectives.
• The Assistant shop manager will motivate and support the management of a diverse team including volunteers, ensuring excellent customer service is delivered whilst maintaining high standards of presentation and efficient stock rotation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Desirable

• Proven experience in retail management or a similar customer-facing role
• Experience working with volunteers
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage budgets effectively
• Experience in the charity, NHS or public sector.
• Full, clean UK driving license (Category B); For expenses claimed for work purposes, business insurance may be required.
