Job summary

The Air Ambulance Service is recruiting an Assistant Shop Manager for our new Stony Stratford shop. This part-time role (16hpw) supports the shop manager with daily operations, targets, and stock control.

You will lead a diverse team including volunteers, ensure great customer service and maintain shop presentation while adapting to changing needs on weekends and busy periods.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a supervisory or supervisory retail role.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work weekends and extra hours as required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the shop manager in day-to-day store operations and meet income targets.
  • Lead a diverse team including volunteers, ensuring excellent presentation and stock rotation.
  • Deliver high standards of customer service while maintaining shop standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

To support the shop manager in leading and managing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring income targets are met in line with our organisational objectives.

The Assistant shop manager will motivate and support the management of a diverse team including volunteers, ensuring excellent customer service is delivered whilst maintaining high standards of presentation and efficient stock rotation.
