Job summary

Rubix UKII is seeking a dynamic Assistant Insite Manager to join our well established customer site. This varied role offers room to make it your own, with a focus on delivering a high standard of service and driving new business growth.

You will deputise for the Insite Manager, manage sales enquiries and orders, maintain customer records, build relationships with engineering and procurement managers, and contribute to revenue and margin improvements.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
• Experience with different customer ERP systems is preferred.
• SAP experience is preferred and training will be provided.
• Understanding of industrial stores operations is preferred and training will be provided.
• Driving license is required.
• Proven track record in industrial sales/customer-driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external liaison.
• Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Resilience under pressure and ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales enquiries and orders and input into the system.
• Deputise for the Insite Manager in their absence.
• Maintain customer information within Rubix and customer systems.
• Manage work orders from engineering.
• Handle stock availability, pricing, back orders, and delivery queries.
• Prepare and follow up on relevant quotes.
• Build and develop relationships with customers to maximise orders and loyalty.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding stock, prices, and delivery issues.
• Oversee inventory management and stores responsibilities.
• Prepare customer reports for meetings.
