Job summary

Wales & West Housing in Wales is recruiting an Assistant Housing Officer to support residents and communities. You will work with Housing Managers to deliver housing services, ensuring issues relevant to residents are addressed and outcomes improved.

The role requires a current driving license, strong communication and the ability to record information accurately in our Dynamics housing system, with flexibility to cover duties across schemes as needed.

Qualifications

• Current driving license and access to a vehicle.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Cover Housing Officer duties when they are away due to sickness, holidays or training.
• Help residents with rent payments and finding suitable homes with the right support.
• Deliver housing services and respond to resident needs as required.
• Record actions and outcomes accurately in the Dynamics housing system and keep stakeholders updated.
