Job summary

Wales & West Housing in Wales is seeking an Assistant Housing Officer to support housing services, assist residents with rent and housing needs, and help create safe, thriving communities. You will work closely with the Housing Manager to ensure smooth operations across schemes and sites.

The role requires a current driving licence and access to a vehicle, with willingness to be deployed as needed. Strong communication, organisation and decision-making skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to the Housing Manager, you will cover duties when Housing Officers are away to ensure housing systems achieve their purpose.
• Help residents with rent payments and finding suitable homes with appropriate support.
• Be flexible and available to deliver housing services as needed across schemes/sites.
