Travelodge Worcester is hiring an Assistant Hotel Manager to lead and develop hotel teams in a fast-paced service environment. You will coach staff, manage rosters, and ensure brand standards across food, beverage and rooms, while driving guest satisfaction and performance targets.

Ideal candidates will have some food & beverage experience, a hands-on leadership style and a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Friendly, engaging and welcoming by nature and have previously led a team in a service led customer facing industry.
• Food & beverage experience would be advantageous for Bar Cafe hotel.
• You thrive in a fast paced and evolving environment delivering the objectives through your team.
• Your communication style is straightforward to ensure Team Members understand their part in the bigger picture.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate hotel teams.
• Create personal development plans for career growth with team members.
• Recruit and induct new team members warmly.
• Ensure food prepared and presented to brand standard (Bar Cafe hotels).
• Maximise food and beverage sales by cross/up-selling (Bar Cafe hotels).
• Review customer feedback to implement targeted action plans.
• Ensure rooms and public areas are cleaned to company standards.
• Oversee repairs or maintenance as needed.
• Manage rosters, banking and health & safety.
• Drive engagement for team members to earn via incentive schemes.
