Job summary

Travelodge London Croydon Central is seeking an Assistant Hotel Manager to lead a customer-focused hotel team, delivering exceptional guest experiences on a full-time or part-time basis. You will coach staff, drive guest satisfaction, and manage day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will develop personal growth plans, recruit and induct new team members, and ensure food and beverage service meets brand standards where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a service industry
• Strong customer-service mindset
• Excellent communication and coaching skills
• Ability to develop team members and drive KPI targets
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations is advantageous for Bar Cafe hotels

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate hotel teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences
• Create personal development plans and conduct inductions for new hires
• Ensure brand standards for food and beverage preparation and presentation
• Drive sales through upselling and cross-selling opportunities
• Review guest feedback and implement targeted improvement plans
• Oversee housekeeping standards and facilities maintenance
• Manage rota planning, banking, and health & safety compliance
• Support engagement and incentive schemes to boost team performance
