Job summary

Popeyes Louisiana Chicken UK&I is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a high-volume team and drive guest experience, quality, and speed of service. You will support the GM in planning and performance, while upholding food safety, health and safety, and employment laws.

You will role-model standards, foster inclusivity, recruit and develop talent, and sustain energy and culture to propel future leadership within the brand.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or Restaurant GM in a branded, high-volume QSR/fast-casual setting.
• Experience coaching, training and having candid conversations to drive performance.
• Drive growth and develop as a future leader with a track record of hitting targets and controlling costs.

Responsibilities

• Help run the restaurant and lead the team to deliver Popeyes’ food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards.
• Support the GM in building a winning plan and achieving performance goals.
• Ensure full team compliance with HACCP, health & safety, and employment legislation.
• Be a role model, set high standards, and inspire the team.
• Create an inclusive space where everyone feels welcome.
• Recruit, develop and retain top talent and build a future pipeline.
• Bring energy, keep service smooth, and maintain a high-energy culture.
• Take the reins when the GM is away and pursue personal development as a stepping stone to leadership.
