Popeyes UK is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a high-volume restaurant with the GM, driving guest experience, operations and people outcomes. You will manage performance, coach teams, and maintain brand standards in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you’ll contribute to a positive culture, develop talent, and ensure compliance with HACCP, health & safety and employment laws. This position offers clear progression and a dynamic work atmosphere aligned with Popeyes values.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant General Manager or Restaurant General Manager in a branded high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
• Proven ability to coach, train and have honest conversations to drive performance.
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L and controlling costs.
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Help run the restaurant and lead the team to deliver Popeyes’ outstanding food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards.
• Support your GM in building a winning plan and smashing performance goals.
• Ensure full team compliance with food safety (HACCP), health & safety, and employment legislation.
• Be the role model—set the tone, keep standards high, and inspire your team.
