Popeyes Louisiana Chicken UK&I in Birmingham is recruiting an Assistant General Manager to lead from the front in a high-volume, fast-casual setting. You’ll partner with the GM to drive food quality, speed of service and guest experience.

This role focuses on coaching and developing people, managing P&L and costs, labour scheduling, stock control and compliance with HACCP and health and safety standards. You’ll role-model values, build a welcoming team, and set the tone for consistent

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or Restaurant General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
• Experience leading results through your teams, coaching, training and having honest conversations, where needed.
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs.
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management, and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Help run the restaurant and lead the team to deliver Popeyes’ outstanding food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards.
• Support your GM in building a winning plan and smashing performance goals.
• Ensure full team compliance with food safety (HACCP), health & safety, and employment legislation.
• Be the role model—set the tone, keep standards high, and inspire your team.
• Create a warm, inclusive space where everyone feels welcome.
