Job summary

Everlast Gyms is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead from the front, developing high‑performing teams and delivering best‑in‑class member experiences across sales, operations and service.

You will drive commercial performance, support recruitment and onboarding, and coach staff to achieve business objectives while maintaining high operational standards and a welcoming club culture.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience within fitness, leisure, hospitality or retail.
• Strong track record of leading teams and delivering business results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to influence performance.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Flexible approach to working patterns, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead club performance and drive revenue, memberships and member engagement.
• Recruit, onboard and retain top talent; conduct regular performance conversations.
• Develop a high‑performing team culture and lead by example with professionalism.
• Ensure outstanding member experience and service standards across the club.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations and ensure health, safety and cleanliness standards.
