Job summary

Everlast Gyms is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead club performance, deliver exceptional member experience and manage a dynamic team. In this hands-on role you’ll support the General Manager to drive sales, operations and people development.

You’ll lead from the front, coaching colleagues, delivering regular feedback and ensuring high standards of service, safety and presentation. This is a clear progression opportunity within Frasers Group’s growing fitness and leisure division.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience within fitness, leisure, hospitality or retail.
• Strong track record of leading teams and delivering business results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to influence performance.
• Flexible approach to working patterns, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
• Experience working within a gym, health club or leisure environment.
• Knowledge of membership sales, retention and fitness operations.
• Pool plant and Health & Safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead club performance across sales, member experience and operations.
• Develop high-performing teams and ensure outstanding member service.
• Drive revenue through memberships, PT and related services.
• Monitor KPIs and club safety/compliance.
• Foster a high-performing, inclusive club culture.
