Job summary

Everlast Gyms is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead and inspire a high-performing club. You will support the General Manager in delivering sales, member experience, and operational excellence while developing your team and championing a first-class environment for members and staff.

This hands-on leadership role offers progression, funded development, and involvement in growth initiatives as part of Frasers Group. You’ll lead by example and drive results in a fast-paced fitness setting.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience within fitness, leisure, hospitality or retail.
• Strong track record of leading teams and delivering business results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to influence performance.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Flexible approach to working patterns, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front, develop high-performing teams and create an outstanding environment for members and colleagues.
• Support the General Manager to deliver results across sales, member experience, operations and team performance.
• Drive sales performance through member engagement and conversion; monitor KPIs and business metrics.
• Ensure a best-in-class member experience and a welcoming club environment.
• Maintain operational standards, health and safety, and compliance; support recruitment and onboarding.
