Duck & Waffle in London is seeking an exceptional Assistant General Manager to lead the Front of House team and ensure outstanding guest experiences across the restaurant, bar and lounge. • Minimum 7 years in hospitality, including 4+ years in management.
• Personal Licence holder.
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced hospitality environments.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and motivate teams.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen.
• Knowledge of employment law, licensing, health & safety, and fire safety.
• Knowledge of company policies and ensuring team compliance.
• Relevant certifications (Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness).

Your Responsibilities:

As Assistant General Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, bar, and lounge, ensuring exceptional service standards, operational excellence, and commercial success.
You will work closely with the senior leadership team to drive sales growth, achieve financial targets, develop team members, and maintain the highest standards across all aspects of the business. Building strong relationships with guests, employees, and suppliers will be key to your success in this role.
