Duck & Waffle invites a passionate Waiter to join our front of house team in London, delivering warm welcomes and flawless service throughout each guest’s dining experience.

You will take orders, explain menu options, upsell beverages, take payments, and communicate orders with the kitchen while maintaining a friendly demeanour in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as Head Waiter or Waiter in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Flexible availability across Mon-Sun.
• Ability to maintain set processes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from guests and answer questions about the menu.
• Sell the restaurant's food and drinks and handle payments.
• Communicate orders with the kitchen staff to ensure accuracy.

Your Requirements

The Waiter primary responsibilities are to exemplify uncompromising hospitality with courteous and efficient service to guests throughout their dining experience. The Waiter takes orders, answers questions about the menu, sells the restaurant's food and drinks, takes payment, and communicates orders with the kitchen staff while maintaining a warm and friendly demeanour

As a Waiter we would love you to have:

• Experience working as a Head Waiter or Waiter in a similar fast-paced environment will be tested at trial/interview stage
• Good English language communication skills are required
• Flexible availability, working any 5 days a week between Monday - Sunday
• Deep respect for diversity and individuality
• The ability to maintain set processes and standards
