Job summary

Catalyst is seeking an Assistant Audit Manager to join its expanding Business Assurance Team. You will lead audits across a varied client portfolio, ensuring planning, fieldwork, and completion stay within budget and deadlines.

Reporting to the Audit Director, you will review junior staff, mentor team members, and be involved in preparation of statutory accounts and corporation tax computations. Hybrid working and clear progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Audit Manager or Audit Senior
• Accounts preparation experience
• Qualified ACA or ACCA
• Strong IT skills to improve audit efficiencies
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audits on a varied portfolio of audit clients
• Manage the audit process against budget including planning, fieldwork and completion
• Review work of junior staff
• Develop and mentor junior staff
• Prepare statutory accounts
• Prepare corporation tax computations
• Liaise with other teams and directors as needed
